Just two weeks ago we joined Funny or Die, and today, much to our surprise, we were featured on their front page! Coal, our coal industry parody, received a big push thanks to it’s placement among the top five featured videos. Preview – The Farting Butterfly Sketch
Reminds me of a time when we were shooting a sketch in high school. It was a remake of ‘Parent Trap’ starring me and Jeremy, only we don’t look anything alike -get it! For whatever reason, it wasn’t “working” and we got kinda snippy. We started arguing over what was funny about it – not realizing that the true comedy was the two high school guys wearing old wigs and prom dresses, holding tiny plastic guitars and bitching at each other while Hayley Mills’ ‘Let’s Get Together’ plays in the background.

Hi, I’m Ben, the new student intern
On behalf of Mr. Beiler, Mr. Dorfman, Mr. Gronli, Ms. Johnson, Mr. Klipstein, and Jared, I welcome you to Free Love Forum’s relaunched comedy site. Until the end of the semester I’ll be freeloveforum.com’s part-time administrator, which means you’ll occasionally see updates from me about what the guys are doing.
I couldn’t be more psyched. When I was a high school senior, Free Love Forum was a huge hit on YouTube for one week. I’ve been keeping tabs on them ever since, and two years later here I am! Turns out the reason they haven’t posted many new videos since then is because they’re always talking to TV execs. No surprise, those dudes were way funny! Did you see that MS Paint video? It was mad sick.
So about me: I’m sophomore at the Tisch School of Film & Television, I love sketch comedy (classics like Keenen and Kel, The Amanda Show, and of course, Free Love Forum), I love hockey (go Rangers!), music (go Kanye!), and partying (obviously).
Man, I’m still tweaking. When my media production T.A. handed out a list of accredited internships and I saw Free Love Forum listed, I didn’t think I had a chance, but no sooner did my interview start than they began assigning work! I guess I had them at hello . Anyways, I’m really thankful to the guys for giving me this opportunity.
Spoiler alert: I’ll also be assisting Free Love Forum’s crew on some upcoming videos and gigs… that’s right, they’ve got new stuff in the pipeline!

We Have Returned
After months of ignoring our appearance, wearing the same jeans everywhere, and letting our gut hang out all over the Internet, we’ve finally returned to digital civilization. While we were out, the online world has changed dramatically. At Free Love Forum however, we like to think of ourselves as fashionably late to technological trends, so we’ll hold off on the Twitter and the intravenous RSS feeds thank you very much. Blogs on the other hand are finally passé, everyone and their mother has one: Enter Free Love Forum.
